Summary:  Directs and coordinates student programs of college.  Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of employees as listed in the WETCC Organizational Chart.

Qualifications:  Masters Degree in related field required; additional experience working in a higher education setting preferred.  Must have demonstrated skills and experience in supervision.  Current driver’s license and insurance required.  Individual background check required.  Must be willing and able to travel.  Salary based on qualifications.

is seeking a full-time Native American Studies Faculty

Job Title:        Native American Studies Faculty
Reports to:        Academic Dean
Status:            Full-time throughout school year

Summary:  Teaches Tribal government, history, language, and culture classes with an emphasis upon the Anishinaabeg.  A full-time faculty is responsible for instruction, assessment, advising, committee work, and service to the College.  Other duties may include grant management, research, or specific academic endeavors.  A college faculty is critical in creating, maintaining, assessing, and reflecting upon a learning environment where academic discipline is embedded with an Anishinaabe epistemology.

Qualifications:  Masters Degree in related field required or equivalent experience in Native Studies; additional experience teaching in a higher education setting preferred.  Current driver’s license and insurance required.  Individual background check required.  Must be willing and able to travel.  Salary based on qualifications.
